When Congo was a beacon of hope to the earth plunged into darkness…
2018 marks the end of the centenary of the Great War. Across the globe several commemorative events are planned. The involvement of the Congo Public Force and the natural wealth of the country were of great importance during this war. Sadly, the ‘allies’ seem to have forgotten about this huge contribution: ‘robbed of history’, ‘forgotten war’ & ‘forgotten front’ are titles that were often used these last 4 years.
Broadcast: Saturday, Nov 10, 2018 (15:30) with Georgine Anne DIBUA and Oncle KINCH.
During the month of November, in addition to the commemoration organized every year at Square Riga in Schaerbeek, Bakushinta will program several activities at De Markten in the heart of Brussels-City. From the 6th to the 30th of November an exhibition, conferences and other activities will be organized in the community center.
More details will follow shortly on this page.
